We previously mentioned the M5-powered Mac models Apple is expected to introduce starting this week. We also reported that Apple is preparing to unveil the new MacBook Pro with the M5 chip. Apple today announced its new M5 chip and new devices featuring the M5 chip. The M5’s performance is evident in the new 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Apple Vision Pro. Let’s take a look at the details of both the M5 and the devices with the M5 chip.

Apple today announced its new M5 chip, manufactured using third-generation 3-nanometer technology. The M5 features a next-generation 10-core GPU architecture with a Neural Accelerator on each core. This new chip enables a more than fourfold increase in GPU maximum processing power compared to the M4.

According to the information shared, the GPU also offers advanced graphics features and third-generation ray tracing technology. Compared to the M4, we see up to 45 percent better graphics performance.

The M5 stands out with its configurable CPUs, which can accommodate up to 10 cores. Six of these are efficiency cores and approximately four are performance cores. Combined, the M5 delivers up to 15 percent faster multi-threaded performance compared to the M4.

The M5, featuring an advanced 16-core Neural Engine and a powerful media engine, also stands out with its combined memory bandwidth, which reaches 153 GBps, a nearly 30 percent increase. The M5’s performance is evident in the new 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Apple Vision Pro. Devices powered by these new M5 chips are available for pre-order starting today.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is significantly faster and more capable thanks to the M5 chip. The device’s AI performance is also expected to stand out. The M5 chip boasts up to 3.5 times the AI ​​performance of the previous generation, delivering up to 1.6 times faster graphics. With up to 24 hours of battery life, the M5 chip allows users to maintain their professional workflows wherever they go.

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip offers faster SSD performance thanks to its storage technology for tasks like importing RAW image files or exporting large videos. As part of the MacBook Pro experience, the device includes leading features such as the Liquid Retina XDR display with Nano-texture display, a 12MP Center Stage camera, a six-speaker audio system, numerous ports, Apple Intelligence features, and macOS Tahoe. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 chip is available starting at ₺94,999. The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip, available in space black and silver, is available for pre-order starting today. Products will be available starting Wednesday, October 22nd.

The iPad Pro stands out with its AI performance thanks to the M5 chip. The new iPad Pro delivers AI performance that’s up to 3.5 times faster than the iPad Pro with the M4 chip and up to 5.6 times faster than the iPad Pro with the M1 chip. Additionally, the new Apple-designed N1 wireless chip enables wireless technologies in the iPad Pro with Wi-Fi 7 support. The C1X modem, available on models of the iPad Pro with cellular connectivity, delivers up to 50 percent faster cellular data performance compared to the previous model, allowing users to complete more tasks on the go.

Available in space black and silver, the iPad Pro features an Ultra Retina XDR display and features iPadOS 26. Users can easily perform high-performance creative and professional tasks. Additionally, the new iPad Pro boasts up to 1.5 times faster ray-traced 3D rendering than the previous-generation iPad Pro and up to 6.7 times faster rendering than the M1-powered iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro is available for pre-order starting today at ₺59,999 and will be in stores on Wednesday, October 22nd.

Apple has introduced an upgraded version of its Vision Pro headset, powered by the company’s M5 chip. The M5 is the latest silicon chip that will ship with the new iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. Expect this new device to be faster and have more features than the previous generation. Apple has kept the price of the 256GB storage device unchanged at $3,499, but it does at least come with a Dual Knit Band, which adds a top strap for extra security and comfort. Existing Vision Pro users can also purchase the Dual Knit Band separately for $99.

The M5 chip includes a new 10-core GPU, which offers better support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading. According to Apple, this will allow developers to add remarkable detail to lighting, shadows, and reflections in games like Control.

The M5 Vision Pro can be used actively for slightly longer than the original model. It’s rated for up to two and a half hours of general use and three hours of video playback. It’s worth noting that the previous model was rated for two hours of general use and two and a half hours of video playback. The M5 Vision Pro, which is available for pre-order, will also be priced at $3,499. Apple will begin shipping the device on October 22nd.
